My documents

This page explains how to keep your hunting paperwork in Jaktli: hunting licence, hunting-exam certificate, weapon licences, shooting tests and membership cards. You can also get a reminder before a document expires.

What is My documents?

My documents is your personal archive for official papers. Open it from the person icon at the top right of the home screen, which opens Profile, then the My documents card.

Who can see your documents?

Only you see your documents. Your team's team leads and secretaries can view them to verify that you hold valid paperwork, but no other members can.

Add a document

  1. Open Profile and tap the My documents card
  2. Tap Add document
  3. Choose the document type:
    • Hunting licence (state licence and wildlife-management fee)
    • Hunting exam
    • Weapon licence
    • Shooting test (for example bear or moose shooting test)
    • Membership card (federation or local club)
    • Other
  4. Fill in the fields:
    • Title (required)
    • Issuer (authority, federation or club)
    • Reference number
    • Issued, Valid from and Valid until (dates)
    • Notes
  5. You can attach a file: an image or a PDF, max 20 MB
  6. Tap Save

The validity date is optional

Some papers, such as the hunting-exam certificate, never expire. Leave Valid until empty in that case. Fill in the date if the paper is renewed, for example the hunting licence each hunting year.

Reminder before a document expires

If you fill in Valid until, Jaktli sends you a reminder as the date approaches, so you have time to renew the paper. You decide whether the reminder arrives as a notification or email under Profile, in the Notifications section, on the My documents row.

The list and detail page show a label when a document is about to expire or has already expired.

Attached file

On the detail page, tap the file row to open the image or PDF. When you edit the document you can replace or remove the file.

Edit and delete

On a document's detail page:

  • Edit reopens the form so you can change fields or swap the file
  • Delete opens a confirmation box. Once you confirm, the document is removed permanently

In the list you can also press and hold a document to open a menu with View, Edit and Delete.

Deletion cannot be undone

A deleted document cannot be recovered.

Verifying licences

Requires administrator role

Only team leads and secretaries can review and mark a member's licences.

A team lead or secretary can open a member's page under Members, look at the member's documents and tap Mark as verified. A green mark then appears on the member that everyone in the team can see. The verification can be removed again with Remove verification.

Verification resets on changes

If the member adds, edits or removes a document, the green mark disappears automatically. An administrator then reviews the papers again and marks the member as verified anew.

Handling of personal data

Your documents and attached files are stored in Jaktli's database and storage, linked to your account. Only you and your team's administrators (team leads and secretaries) have access to them. Data is deleted when you remove the document yourself or delete your account. See the Privacy policy for your full rights.

Mind your personal identity number

A hunting licence, weapon licence or membership card may contain your personal identity number (personnummer) or other sensitive details. Only upload what you want to keep and share with your team's administrators. You don't have to attach an image or PDF if you just want to note that the paper exists and when it expires.
