Notice Board
Here you'll learn how to read team news, pin important notices, and post your own messages if you're an administrator.
What is the notice board?
The notice board is the team's shared communication channel for news and information. Think of it as a digital cork board in the cabin: important notes on top, less important ones below.
Pinned messages always appear at the top with an orange edge and a pin icon. Up to two messages can be pinned at once. They also appear on the home-screen hero banner.
Read messages
- Tap Notice board on the home screen
- Browse the list: pinned posts first, then the rest with newest first
- Tap a message to read the full text
Each message shows the author's name and the date.
TIP
If someone in the team can't find an old notice, they've probably scrolled past it. Scroll down, or use the home-screen hero banner to see the pinned message quickly.
Create a message
Requires administrator role
Only secretaries and team leads can create, edit, delete, and pin messages.
- Tap Create notice at the top of the page
- Write a title (max 100 characters) and the message text
- Add photos or files if you want (see below)
- Save
Everyone in the team gets a notification when you publish a new post.
Attach photos and files
You can add up to 3 files per notice. Allowed types are photos (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP), PDF, Word, Excel, and plain text files. Each file can be up to 25 MB.
- While creating or editing a notice, tap Add photo or Add file
- Pick one or more files from your phone
- Wait for the upload to finish (you'll see the text "Uploading...")
- Tap the cross next to an attachment to remove it
- Save the notice
When a teammate opens the notice, photos appear inline. Other files open when the reader taps them.
TIP
Large photos take longer to upload over mobile data. On poor reception, wait until you have Wi-Fi or shrink the photos beforehand.
Pin or unpin a message
Administrators can pin up to two important messages so they appear both at the top of the notice board and on the home screen.
- Open the message
- Tap Pin (the pin icon)
- To unpin: tap the same icon again
Edit and delete
The author and administrators can edit or delete their own messages from the message detail screen.
Deletion can't be undone
A deleted message is gone for good. Save the text somewhere else if you think you'll need it later.
