Statistics

Here you'll learn how to see your team's numbers for a whole season: how many hunts you've had, how many animals you've downed and seen, and what you've spent money on.

What are the statistics?

The statistics gather up what you've already registered in the app and show it as clear charts and tables, one season at a time. You don't need to enter anything new. The numbers come from the calendar, from live hunts, from the harvest log, and from the expense list.

Every team member can view the statistics.

Choose a season

The hunting year doesn't follow the calendar year. Each team decides when its season starts and ends in Team Settings. The default is 1 July to 30 June.

At the top there's a box where you choose the season. The app shows the season we're in now. Tap the box to switch to an earlier season. Only seasons that have numbers can be chosen.

Seasonal totals

At the top you see a summary for the whole selected season:

  • Number of hunts (calendar)
  • Number of hunts (live)
  • Man-hours (live) — the combined time all hunters shared their position during hunts
  • Number of downed animals
  • Number of observed animals
  • Harvested (number of entries in the harvest log)
  • Packaged meat (total packaged weight in kilograms)
  • Total expenses

Hunts per person per month

Here you see how many hunts each person took part in, across the months of the season. We count hunts in two ways, shown separately:

  • Calendar counts the hunt events in the calendar that the person said yes to.
  • Live counts the hunts where someone shared their position with Live Hunt.

Good to know

A hunt can exist in the calendar without anyone starting live sharing. That's why the two numbers aren't always the same.

Downed animals

You see downed animals per month, per person, and per species. The numbers come from the downed markers placed during a live hunt.

Observations

Here you see observed animals per species and month. For each species you can see the split between male, female, and young. Choose the species at the top of the chart. The numbers come from observation markers during a live hunt.

Meat weights

Here you see how much meat the hunts produced over the season, taken from the Harvest log. Weights are shown in kilograms.

  • Weight per month: live weight, dressed weight, and packaged weight month by month.
  • Packaged weight per species: how many kilos of packaged meat each species produced.
  • Packaged weight per shooter: how many kilos each shooter accounts for.

Meat distribution

This chart shows who received the meat. Each recipient (a member, a contact, or a free-text person) is listed with how many kilos of packaged meat they received. The total distributed weight is shown at the top.

Expenses

Expenses per month are shown as a bar chart, with the season's total above it. The numbers come from Expenses.

Statistics show what has been registered

Downed animals and observations are only counted if they were marked during a live hunt. If you hunted without starting live sharing, those animals won't appear here. Meat weights and meat distribution come from the harvest log, where you can also add downed game by hand. The more you register in the app, the more accurate the statistics become.
