Profile and Settings

Here you'll learn how to change your profile picture, edit your contact details, control which notifications you get, switch language, and (if you need to) delete your account.

Two separate screens

The app has two places for personal settings:

• Profile: personal information, profile picture, dogs, weapons, language, notifications, data export, and sign-out
• Settings: privacy policy, terms, help, and feedback. If you're an administrator, you can also delete the team from here.

You reach both via the icons in the top-right corner of the home screen.

Profile picture

1. Open Profile
2. Tap your profile picture (or your initials)
3. Choose Take photo to capture a new picture with the camera, or Choose from library to pick a picture already on your phone

The new picture appears immediately for the whole team in the member list.

Personal information

Edit your first name, last name, and phone number under Profile. The email address you sign in with cannot be changed; if you need to change email, email support@jaktli.se.

My dogs

Under Profile there is a list of your own hunting dogs. The list follows you between teams, so you only need to add a dog once.

For each dog you can save:

• Name, breed, sex, and colour
• Date of birth
• Roles (pointing, driving, flushing, tracking, retrieving, bird dog, burrow dog, watch dog, or other)
• Status (active, retired, deceased, or other)
• Kennel club (SKK) registration number, if the dog is registered
• Notes

Add a new dog with Add dog. Tap a row to edit or remove it.

My gun cabinet

Under Profile there is also a personal gun cabinet. Useful for keeping track of zeroing and service before the season.

For each weapon you can save:

• Nickname, make, and model
• Type (rifle, shotgun, combination, pistol, revolver, air rifle, or bow)
• Calibre and barrel length
• Status (owned, on loan, sold, or held for an heir)
• Zeroing distance, ammunition brand, and grain weight
• Last service date and notes

Add a new weapon with Add weapon. Tap a row to edit or remove it.

Only you see the list

Dogs and weapons are private to you. Other team members do not see them.

Notifications

Notifications are controlled per team. If you're in several teams, each team has its own settings. The settings apply to the team you've selected at the top of the home screen.

For each team you can set push and email separately for seven categories:

• Calendar: new events, changes, and reminders
• Notice board: new posts and updates
• Tasks: new and assigned tasks
• Team: new members and team changes
• Chat, whole team: new messages in the team chat room
• Chat, activity: new messages in an activity chat you take part in
• Live hunt: when someone starts or ends a live hunt

Billing emails

Emails about payment (receipts, failed payments, soon-to-expire subscriptions) are always sent and cannot be turned off. They go only to administrators.

No notifications at all?

Check that you've allowed Jaktli to send notifications. On iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Jaktli. On Android: Settings → Notifications → Jaktli.

Preferred language

Under Profile there is a Preferred language section where you switch between Swedish and English. The choice is saved on your account, so the next time you sign in on another phone or in the web app you get the same language.

Export my data

At the bottom of Profile there is an Export my data button. It downloads all your data as a JSON file. You can share the file via your phone's normal share sheet, for example by emailing it to yourself.

Sign out

The Sign out button sits below the export on Profile. You sign in again with the same email and password. If you just want a break, signing out is enough; the account stays.

Settings

Under the settings screen you'll find:

• Privacy policy: how your personal data is handled under GDPR.
• Terms of use: the terms you accepted when you created the account.
• Help: opens this documentation in your browser.
• Send feedback: report bugs and suggest improvements, see Feedback.
• Edit profile: takes you back to the profile screen.

Requires administrator role

If you are a secretary or hunt leader you'll also see Delete team here. It deletes the team and all its content; it cannot be undone.

Delete account

This cannot be undone

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile, name, and picture
• Your membership in every team
• Everything you've created (notices, tasks, contacts, photos, expenses, cameras, markers)

You cannot recover a deleted account. To try again later you'll need to create a brand-new account.

1. Open Profile
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
3. Confirm in the dialog

Want to take a break instead? Sign out, the account stays.
